Can you believe this kid was 16 at this taping? Raw talent, room for improvement, but I think he will be around for a long time and his music will cross many a genre. I’m not 100% sure but I think he also wrote this particular song. I so love finding raw talent!

Tifft

The day was just perfect for a nature hike. Miss M and hubby and I took a little drive to Tifft Nature Preserve and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to do it. We didn’t stay long, but long enough to get a good taste for things to come!

Chilly Spring

I thought I’d get out and see what I could find to shoot today. It’s still pretty chilly when just hanging out near water. Doesn’t look very spring like in an overall view of things, but they say tomorrow it should be around 60 degrees… a heat wave.. woohoo! I sat as long as I could, then my body stiffened up and I had to leave, can’t shoot when the fingers are cold. Nothing much of interest to post from today’s outting, however, I’ll put these few up any way.

Green Grassy Patches

I’m getting so excited that the weather seems to have turned for the better here. I’m sure we’ll be getting some of that rain that’s been in the Mid West, but I’ll take rain over snow anyday! I’m happy to report that I actually seen some GREEN grassy patches yesterday, cannot tell you the utter joy I felt inside. I absolutely…. 100% …. despise winter here in NY. I grew up here, lived here on and off throughout my years and I now ask myself everyday “why did I ever come back here?”. I look forward to better days that’s for certain.
